What the heck is up with people whining about Michael C. Halls fake accent. I didn't find it distracting even a bit, but many other reviews claim as if it was completely over the top and unbearable.
Plot
Initially seems like just another crime thrillers where there is a missing individual with a family member or a detective working relentlessly to find them, and eventually realising that it was someone who was around the whole time.
In a way that's how the story eventually unravels, but what stood out for me is the way they shaped the story. One may argue that some character reveals could have been delayed. Still the miniseries manages to keep you intrigued and keeps you guessing.
You suspect almost every character apart from Hall to be involved some way or other. Not many shows where this happens. And you can say that cliffhangers are placed nicely in most of the episodes.
I would definitely recommend this show for crime drama lovers.
Do Watch.
