Ananya Roy – Google

I fail to understand Zoya Akhtar's fascination with rich people dramas. The storyline is repetitive, tacky and incomplete. Nothing that you have not seen before. Oppressed daughter, daughter in law, cheating husband, helpless wife, filthy rich family. Maybe some sort of a milestone for Bollywood, but really if this is a milestone then there's a long way to go from here. Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar and Rahul Bose are brilliant. Apart from that, you can definitely do better in the 3hrs than watch this movie.

It was entertaining. Personally, I really disliked Piper's self obsessed, indulgent and toxic behaviour. Dayanara was another major screw up. I disliked her character throughout the show. Alex could have been more expressive. Her expressions got stale after a while. Nicky was the best character. Sorted in most ways, still a lovely person and intelligent even after being all coked up. It's those adversely flawed characters that make this show relatable on a character basis.

I'm really upset after Kate gave up her dog. This is just terrible. Don't get dogs if you plan on putting them down the minute a condom breaks! Frankie needs to be put in an asylum. That's not post partum depression she's suffering from, that's insanity. I don't understand the increasing trend of showing deranged characters. Basically average show, nothing different about the humor. I'll call it wannabe dark. Certainly nothing unique. And I'm touchy about dogs. So not giving it a second chance.
