There are two types of people who rate this series, one who'll rate it as full 5 stars and those who'll rate somewhere around 3 stars. Those who'll rate 5 stars are those who actually watched the show. Those who rated 3 stars are those whose really impatient and doesn't understand what this series is about. SPOILER! not too much though Yes, it may look a DULL at the beginning, but, that's the thing, the first season sets to layout the story of the family. The family is a normal boring one, not a very well off family but normal enough that divorce was still on the table by season one. Martin is just like any man (most men) who works to put food on table while neglecting his wife which eventually lead Wendy (his wife) cheating on him. Around the end of season one, the story of the family is set, now, the family must stand as a united front and fight to live. By season two, this is where the series starts to shine. The family that was once falling apart now has to pick up their pieces and hold together from falling apart as they hoop obstacles after obstacles. By the end of the season two, faced with many different conditions and lucky enough to get away by the hair, they find their true calling and move on to season three. By season two, we realise how much the family gone through and how much has changed. It sets up the season three nicely, that season three was a must. I'll not spoil season three, the last season is the best. Watch it, won't regret it. I haven't spoken about the cast, every character has their moment and well acted. Non-protagonist characters also really shine out like Ruth Langmore, Jacob-Darlene... I'll stop now.. already said too much 🙂
