I liked it very much. And the ending is a bit fussy, and people are blaming Srijit for it. For the kind info, of those people, the ending is more or less exactly the same as in the story, "Pahar churaye atonko". So fussy ending is the habit of Sunil Gangopadhay. Srijit just cinematised it the way it was supposed to be and he did an excellent job. Sunil Gangopadhay's signature style is to end the story in this manner, I respect this, since he might be having the intention to render his audience clueless and wanted to think over that a bit. I've noticed it. And people who're criticising everything without even a word knowledge about the original story, I wish them good luck. It's sad that most people don't go to hall to evaluate the story, comprehend the script or to think through the perspective of the director. Throughout the movie I heard munching, buzzing, cellphone beeps and sometimes some eerie sounds of couple being intimate. Pathetic. And they come out and say "dhur ki sob koreche! Worthless! Bogus! Paisa ferot chai!"
Notwithstanding that minor faults may have crept into the story, still it's a great film to watch and I do appreciate the efforts the entire film has put into it.
Thumbs up!
