I can't believe this is the same author of so many other great thrillers. This book should be sold under a quasi-religion epistle. He purports to make it initially look like one of his thrillers, then goes into an Anti-Christ, Anti-Catholic diatribe, over and over and over. It is most disingenuous of him to put his unqualified, and undocumented hate into a "novel". Ok, we know from his bio that he left the Catholic Church (cause unknown) to marry a wealthy Jewish correspondent. Somewhere in that match up, he became so embittered over the Four Gospels, and the Christian religion, that he has apparently been laying in the weeds to create this faux novel. Interestingly, as he badgers over and over the New Testament, even denying the existence of Christ as Divine, and blames only Christians for the Holocaust, he never one time mentions the Old Testament, wherein the predictions of Christ as the Savior for the Jewish people, is mentioned over 300 times by their most famous, honored, and brilliant prophets. Sad, very sad.
