Super disappointed! I LOVE Marvel movies. I love that they’re light-hearted and an enjoyable experience. They can tackle difficult situations, but do it in a way that is so…human. The characters in most Marvel movies have humor and flaws, and it’s a breath of fresh air. This movie broke that archetype. While there were some jokes, it was way too artsy for a Marvel film. Kit Harrington and Kumail Nunjani had the only true Marvel characters (classic to a Marvel film)- but their parts were not nearly big enough to help the movie. We went through this with Thor: The Dark World. Get James Gunn or Taika Waititi to bring Eternals back into the Marvel fold.
