The only episode i really liked this season (season 10) was the last one, episode 5, with the 3 guys from Massachusetts. Now only 2 of them wanted to participate, but I thought that while they did, they did a GREAT job. Not only were those guys so wonderful, and so devoted to their wives, and willing to work on their own problems to be better husbands, but I LOVED the psychologist in that episode. Of all the psych experts I've seen appear in this season, I thought she was the most helpful, the most insightful, and quickly got to the root of problems. She dropped wisdom on those guys, and got them to really think about their behavior and why they were doing what they were doing. I thought she was the most effective and the kindest professional they had appear on the show, and was really inspired by how much she seemed to help these people.
But otherwise, sometimes I feel like having the family involved is detrimental. In other episodes I've always seen the families and other people trying to throw stuff away behind people's backs, and they just don't understand that DOESN'T work. I wish every episode could work as well as the three amigos episode and have such a happy ending. I wish every episode could be done with as much compassion, help, love and understanding, because I feel like that would be much more helpful to these people. I mean, they're mentally ill, they have a problem, they aren't well, and they need HELP. They need understanding, love and compassion.
