They have deleted so many negative reviews about this movie. They must have spent more money on getting people to report posts than the box office revenue for this stinker. Indi is a sad, weakened, pathetic version of himself. Yet another male character Kathleen Kennedy has managed to ruin. Her depiction of white men as old shriveled up husks of what they used to be or Making male characters intentionally stupid while giving special privilege and intuitive understanding to female and/or POC roles. Aside from the political mumbo jumbo this movie dragged on and jumped from place to place worse than the previous film Crystal Skull. I don't like what they have done with Indi overall and if i knew i was getting into a "Bad dad redemption story" movie i would have dodged it like a wildfire. Also, The trope of Strong Mary Sue character is played out and doesn't give any variety to an actress that would probably do better in a role that was more down to earth, Where they made Indi too down to earth by giving him too many human flaws to distract from his character. they have completely taken out all the charm and joy from these movies. Our villains are not only not intimidating but also played out. Much of the soul has replaced it with overly clean glamour shots and action scenes. that is enough about what i don't like about the characters but even the story telling here also doesn't feel like any consistency in direction and it ends before you even realize it in a very anticlimactic way.
