looked through some of the reviews who gave 1 star and it has to be said. people are just sour. i have watched every version after watching the 2019 version, and i have read the novel. i love the novel a lot, and every single version was amazing. but i honestly feel like the 2019 version related to me more. that's the thing. the 2019 version will appeal to kids my age, while the versions would too but not as much because of the cast. the casting was a fantastic choice, i think every actor and actress really brought life to the character they were to play. the older people would probably prefer the older versions, and some of them plain hate on the newest. i think every version is amazing, and the newest adaptation is on the same level. every version is amazing and the 2019 one is definitely worth a watch :>
