I personally love this show. And was a huge Taylor Swift fan since before she even blew up. This entire situation is just so disappointing. There is so little representation of people of colour in the media and fans of Taylor Swift want to silence us even further over a dumb comment about her love life. Yes, the comment was unkind but for her fans to try and cancel an entire show and racially bully the main cast member with Taylor not doing or saying anything to stop it potentiates racist behaviour and is so DISGUSTING. This show literally has the most diverse cast and it would be shame to cancel it. News flash, feminism is not an excuse for racism and Taylor Swift is not a goddess that walks among us. She is a person with flaws just like everyone else. And so is Antonia Gentry. Antonia Gentry is a person and she deserves respect too. The show has its flaws but I believe it was meant to be that way because none of us are perfect growing up. It is after all a coming of age story.
