A lovely book but don't read it expecting anything like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And for that reason I loved it even more. J.K Rowling created another world that (to me) felt real which caused me to care for the characters and their outcomes.
For the reviewers saying it's supposed a children's book, it's actually a fairytale (like the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson) which is dark. And in reality that darkness is part of our the world but there is also a light which is HOPE and genuine KINDNESS.
And I feel with everything that's going on in the world right now this was a great reminder that things can get better.
How you recieved this book is all about the lens you're looking at it through.
