I think some people are wayyy overthinking this show. If you want a lovey dovey show about the spiritual connection between kids and their mothers, the dark side of PPD, etc. go watch the waltons or the hallmark channel. This is a funny, quirky show about being a working mom, or any mom really, and how life gets weird in many ways. They do not kiss their babies seven times each episode, there would be no time for anything else. Of course they adore their children. Just relax, try not to get judgey, and laugh.
