Don't listen to the negative reviews... I mean the movie is about a guy who turns himself into a vampire right? What are the critics expecting, Hamlet?? The movie is entertaining, has action and it was fun. I don't know about you, but that's why I go see movies; to have a good time and be entertained, and Morbious delivered.

The real malevolent force in this movie is the evil in men's hearts; Covetousness, ( the callous desire to sacrifice anything to attain ), and those to weak or wicked to oppose this. I didn't see this movie as a typical horror flick with a supernatural adversary, but one much more sinister...of one's fellow man trying to ' help ' you.

Great movie...hard to accurately convey; so much it touched on...darkness, innocence, symbolism, life and death, bonds of love, heartbreak, sadness...great imagery, and the viewer gets closure as justice prevails in the end.
