As a huge and I mean huge Bond fanatic I found this film to be the worst film of the franchise by far , from the worst Bond theme I can remember to pointless deaths of beloved Bond mythos characters that did nothing for the story. I actually enjoyed the fact that 007 was taken over by someone new as that is what would happen IRL if your agent goes missing for 5 years The movie villain was quite possibly the most disappointment I have ever experienced watching a movie , he was truly awful and so badly needed a Batista type henchman to prop him up , in fact I still can't remember what actually happened to Saffins henchman , it was that bland. The other characters like M, Q, Moneypenny (especially) didn't have anything to do in the 2.5hr movie , criminally underused. I wont get into the end , how can you have Bond blatently getting blown up and two minutes later during the start of the credits proudly proclaim ' James Bond will return ' and still have a shred of credibility I hated every minute of this with every fibre of my being.
