Beautiful, fun game that is a distinctive and memorable. Yes it has similar mechanics to other Far Cry games, but it’s setting and characters are unique. Your quest and character progression are heavily rewarded, so you’ll always feel like your time is paid off. The large world feels alive with life and the animal companions are useful and fun, especially the big cats. The fact that you can ride a saber-tooth tiger and a mammoth into battle should be enough to convince many, and that’s just one aspect of a myriad reasons to play this game.
