I must apologize to the talent and beautiful craftsmanship of Jane Campion and her colleagues and fellow artists for the above ignorant, insensitive, near-medieval comments. Top of the Lake is one of the most discerning outputs on a mass-producing and decidedly cynical medium as Netflix. By the mere token of distributing this series, you have raised your audience's intelligence level by multiple notches, an audience you would have not dreamed of capturing otherwise. I will cancel my membership after watching this but thank you for bringing it to us, nonetheless.
