Well, the last 20 seconds of the movie finally let me know what I'd been watching in this film for the past 7 hours (2 actually, but felt like 7). I wish I'd been let in on the 'secret' sooner - not that it was much of a secret, mostly it was just him being a jerk. I'm a bit socially awkward these days - my awkwardness doesn't hold a candle to the uncomfortable interactions among these characters. The scenery was beautiful though.

In just a few more years, I can start to be as cool as Jean Smart and as world wise as Deborah Vance. I just wish I'd earned it they way they both did over the past quarter century or so. But I'll play the part and try to be worthy. She's (both actor and character) are positively awesome, and the writing is razor sharp filled with deep cut emotion. It's all so good I can even like my most dreaded place on earth ... Vegas. Fantastic show. I really hope there's a second season.

cute and quirky, innocent, just a tiny bit absurd and totally endearing. And it's got DB so even if it weren't charming ... it would be!
