I'd love to give this movie a review but I gave up 18 minutes into it and not because of the acting or script but because of the God awful music. It just doesn't seem to stop.

I'm not going to dissect this movie or it's creator. I'm just going to give a basic opinion. I wanted to love this movie but I didn't quite get there. Part of that is my fault with not being able to let go of the original story and movies. I wanted more of the old. That's on me, not the movie. If you haven't seen it already, go into it with a semi blank slate and accept that it's going to be different.

I've read some bad reviews regarding this movie and most about the science and politics behind it.. BUT that's why it's called a movie and not a bloody documentary. Was it the best movie ever made? Nah...but it was still a good one. I enjoyed it anyway. I mean come on, Gerard Butler is in it. Its definitely worth a watch.
