Give this show a chance. It's actually incredible.
It's a fictional story, but not ahistorical. The content and themes are harrowing. The principal photography is stellar - if it's too dark, turn up your brightness settings...
I don't leave reviews, because I don't want to impart inane, or empty observations about something someone may really like.
But people giving this show 1 star (many of whom haven't even watched beyond 2 episodes), display a lack of imagination. One criticism levied is the lack of "historical accuracy". No, there wasn't a real underground train running.. I guess symbolism is dead for those viewers.
