I paid the $19.99 to rent this flick for 48 hours because the leading man is Asian. I’m happy to see that these rolls are becoming more prevalent. No karate, Kung fu or silly side-kick. I can not comment on the experience of cancer-related relationships but I see the pain all Involved experience. Grief in this film feels somewhat empty. I can see why many reviews call this movie rushed. The Romance and relationship intro between the two protagonists was very cute. I would recommend this movie and I do not regret paying the money for it. I’ll always support movies like these because representation matters.
