I am in the 10th episode now and there is no progress yet. Nothing. This is such a slow drama and issues/mysteries are just pilling up, there's no much effort whatsoever to solve those. Neither is there any improvement in the characters, they are just their stupid, irritating selves. I am starting to think it's overrated. Hope something good comes up in the upcoming episodes. 😑 But then, I Need to say, Oh Jung-se's acting is A1. Did an amazing job! And how the morals and the emotions were portrayed Through the story books were beautiful. Update: I completed watching this today and I still hold the same opinion. This series was more of a 1/5 for me, I wished there would be more history to her mother and why she killed but the way it was all hyped up until 10th episode, the reason didn't seem justifiable. Also, the story about the assemblyman wasn't shown further, I mean they captured the cctv footage of Gang-tae being slapped to blackmail but that part wasn't Continued further. I wish they showed alot of her father's part of the story too, how she grew up and how did her mother escape/survive and how she made it up to the Psychiatric hospital. I loved the Shaman's story, how she was abused in childhood. That was a strong message and I loved how at every point while someone was remembering their past n crying, they would show their child form crying out their hearts. That was really beautiful. About the characters, I loved all of them, everyone suited in their roles except the leads. I absolutely hated Moon-Young. She's just so annoying and loud and selfish at times(Read: at all times). I haven't been irritated by any character as much as her. Also, who goes to sleep with makeup on, dressed up top to bottom. I felt her character was not realistic or relatable(at all). I don't know how people are shipping Moon-young and Gang-tae! That is such a toxic relationship! The female lead reeks of toxicity! ThIS was just a waste of my 20+ hours trying to convince myself to sit through the drama for the sake of all the hype!

This was one very beautiful story! Such amazing depiction of the characters. Jun-Hui made me the happiest and the saddest. He's got such an adorable smile, your heart would just melt and with his "I am okay" face, you are bound to cry! Such a warm, giving, loving and protective character. It broke my heart in the last episode how he looked at Jin-ah on the stairs as she was standing there with her bf. He's so caring and giving and how he contains everything inside, it broke my heart. On the other hand, Tbh, Jina-ah's character irritated me at times(Read: most times) for playing all helpless(like Elena Gilbert from TVD), being such a pushover and putting up with her mother. I really can't ignore the fact how she lied over n over again and jeopardized her relationship with Jun-Hui(though she said that she didn't want him to worry but still she did it intentionally when it wasn't at all necessary). All over, I loved the series but then there were certain time lapses where I couldn't join certain dots(maybe all that got lost in the translation). I didn't like how they wrapped up the whole office's sexual harrasment scenario, I thought it had a larger role to play. Also, I didn't understand why she had to leave her job all of a sudden and breakup and move to Jeju island all at once. I also didn't like how Jin-ah was the same old person after the time lapse, I mean what does it take for one person to say the whole truth/express oneself all at once?! This guy came all the way from the US to her brother's wedding to get a glimpse of her and she expects him to be her best friends's brother again, even when he made all his emotions clear. She just loved taking stupid decisions and troubling Jun-Hui. Also, I would have loved if Jin-ah's mother approved of them and they would get married at last cuz that's what was the issue at the first place right? Their whole relationship to Jin-ah's mother. But that wasn't resolved either. I absolutely loved this series but I wish things ended on a clearer note. PS: I am in love with the OST.

It's hilarious how all these people are rating the show as 1 after watching a few episodes of it almost 30 years after it was aired. Guys this show was not to give you some moral values or provide some deep impact, it's a light watch. Watch it, laugh it over and get over it. You don't have to analyse everything and make it complicated. These people lied and hid things from each other and embarrassed each other but still they accepted each other for their crazy selves! I guess that's how real-world friends are. And That's what the takeaway of this show is.

This movie could have been so much more but it ended in total confusion. It started on such high notes and then just crashed! there was also a lack of details at so many points, most communications were through expressions than conversations which might be a tad bit confusing for the audience (Atleast for me it was, cuz I need verbal confirmation on what's happening. Even the ones through expressions weren't clear enough and you just have to know their thought process just by looking at their faces). It's a 2.5/5 for me.

I liked the story, it was nice and beautiful but most part of it felt fictitious. There were some important parts which were not shown too, like 1. The most obvious example being Seri returning back from the DMZ to the south. That was pretty abrupt, the scene from DMZ was directly cut to her office building. Up until the end of the episode I thought maybe she's dreaming and maybe she has been captivated or something(not used to this straightforward plot). 2. In episode 14 or 15, the Rat's wife and kid were being abducted by 2 strange men, the reason or the person responsible wasn't shown later. 3. The process how the infiltrated army officer was caught and the further proceedings were done, wasnt shown either. 4. The conman wasn't supposed to die that easy :/ Dan And he could have started a fresh life together somewhere. :/ 5. After the conman's death, Dan sternly said she wanted revenge for his death but that wasn't continued. Her life was portrayed more of sad useless one, she's just waiting for people and losing them. 6. I would have loved if the ending was intense, it was more on mellow tone. 7. Idk if this counts, but Son Yejin's kissing makes me uncomfortable, I mean have you seen her discomfort while making out with her male counterparts?🙄 Other than these few things I liked it, the characters were perfect, the comedy was great too, overall it was a nice one! 😊

I loved the maturity of the characters in the movie, such a sweet form of romantic love, I am not really a rom-com person but since I switched to k-dramas, I can't seem to hold my ground anymore 😛 and it's really beautiful for a change! I mean the portrayal of the characters, the polished acting skills specially Jung Hae-in's, you can literally feel his sadness, he's so good at it that it feels real. This was one mellow lovestory with not much downhills but I loved it for how it was, simple yet sweet. You don't always need a strong negative character/dreadful twist to fall for a movie. I am actually in short of words how beautiful I found this movie to be, so I am going to leave it here. PS - The rate at which I am falling for these series/movies, I think I am on the verge of going kdama krazy 🤭

I wish I could put my feelings into words here as to how beautiful this drama was, just so so so beautiful! My heart is broken into thousand little pieces and I am crying right now. We as an audience are so used to see a happy ending, up until the last minute I thought maybe there's a time machine and maybe all of it was a bad dream.This is one of the most beautiful series I have watched and I wish more people watched and appreciated and rated it higher. Everything was so perfect, the cast, the storyline, the cinematography, every freaking thing! Though theres this little confusion that I have, why was the detective after Jun-ha, why was he so adamant about releasing him, was there some personal vendetta? But other than that, It was so smooth and captivating that at no point will you feel it's dragging and boring and the twist that came in after the 10th episode, such a genius! Amazing work! No matter how many times I write it, I can't explain how beautiful I found this drama to be! It's not the kind you watch over and over again, but the kind that stays with you. So I would just recommend everyone to watch it, just go and watch and cry your hearts out. ❤️

IMO this movie wouldn't qualify much as a thriller(compared to the definition of thriller we have in our heads) but I sure did like the movie, it was more of a light watch for me. There weren't much of OMG moments cuz I kind of expected the plot twist since the detective's son appears in one of the facetime scenes she has with the father and she calmly says "I got it sweetheart"(The hint was pretty much clear indicating her son's involvement and how she kept on going about what she could do as a parent to protect her son). But all that aside, I loved the concept how most of it was captured through the computer screen and how beautifully it was crafted and mostly, the enlightenment on the power of the internet. 🤭 Btw the uncle was hot. 🙈
