I have read a lot of positive comments on the book so i bought it.
First negative comment was the great review from Paulo Coelho... The Universe conspired for me to waste my time on the 5AM Club book...
First, I was waking at 5AM before getting the book. I was looking for ways to make my time more productive.
I started reading and implementing it. I put forward the 20/20/20 formula. I woke up at 4:50. By 5 i was on my spin bike. Easy.
5:20AM problems begin. I am sweating. I cant sit to meditate or write my journal. I need to have a shower.
5:35AM: Get dressed for work.
5:40AM: Starvation kicks in. After a good night sleep and 20mins of exercise you must feel a bit hungry. Personally, when i am hungry it is like my CPU is at sleep mode with my monitor (eyes) open.
5:40AM to 6AM: Breakfast preparation.
6AM to 6:15AM: Kitchen clean up (washmachine, rubbish etc).
That leaves me with 40 minutes at best before i leave for work.
Normally i want to check the web for news on my job to be better informed or i try to organise my schedule for the day.
So that leaves no time for medidating or journaling.
This book did nothing for me beyond wasting my time finishing it, because I have a habit of finishing every book i read.
