Typical Peacock movie of the week. A plane goes down and lands in the Philippines. Then the fun begins.

Better than the 1937 version, which isn't saying much. This did not have to be a musical. Snow White was never that good of a story to begin with. I can say that unlike the old version I actually got through this film. Live action does not automatically make everything better. And the AI dwarfs was an odd touch. I guess a movie should be updated after 88 years. The problem, to me, is how do you post modernize a modern era film. This is like their Wizard of Oz. Art deco isn't cool anymore. Snow White is challenging because it's one of the simpler, basic, Disney stories. And it missed out on the treatment Disney was doing in the 90s and 2000s. So it's woefully overdue.

Very bizarre and strange retrofuture show for children. Imagine the year 1990, killer robots as companions, but no smartphones or tablets. So artificial intelligence, in this world, exists in the robots but people are still using paper maps and watching VHS. Good times. Visually appealing but I have no idea what is going on.

Nice low budget film about a Dominican that comes home from the service and ends up finishing some business on the streets that he started before he went in. He should leave it behind and get his life together but you know how it is. Modern day version of what may have happened to some of the soldiers that came back from the war and returned to the ghettos they grew up in.

Seems like more of a vehicle for Karla Mosley than anything else. I'm still here after 5 episodes. All of the usual tropes in soap operas nothing new or groundbreaking.

Incredible. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Heroes, cowards, villains and antiheroes. Disturbing on many levels, but it wouldn't be honest if it wasn't. Not only do you learn about the war in Vietnam, but you understand why war is so controversial and why some are indifferent about it today. Enthusiasm and pride melt away and one is left with feelings of helplessness and abandon. Like what it was for some back then. It also gives insight into what was happening here with the riots of the sixties and seventies. Demoralizing, any and every state of mind you could imagine, and those are the more pleasant parts of the documentary.

Disturbing but definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of Law and Order SVU or shows like Chicago PD. Good examination of how victims aren't believed and how they're treated like a criminal by society.

As much as I like Morris Chestnut I wasn't sure what to expect but so far this one does not disappoint. He doesn't overshadow the cast; to be fair this is supposed to be inspired by, or loosely connected to, Sherlock Holmes but it feels post modern and does not invite comparisons to shows like, the original television series from 1979 or Dr. Who, from the sixties. Hopefully it lasts longer than Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson did.

It wants to be a cross between Scrubs and Superstore. It is not as good as either show. Worth a watch because of Wendi McLendon-Covey and David Alan Grier who keep it interesting but outside of that it is rather forgettable. Another paint by numbers comedy from the writers at NBC.

A dark, bleak, morbid cross between The Walking Dead and your favorite dystopian, apocalyptic show. Typical SyFy series. Super low budget, but it is very satisfying. Religious and spiritual themes, and it ends up being more about the human spirit being broken and people turning on each other than it is about the end times. Half way through the season the family turns on itself. SyFy network is very good at producing shows that are so bad they're good. Also worth watching because of Anne Heche.
