One of the best series I've seen on Peacock in a long time. Unlike other series over the last few years that had a lot of hype but fell short on this network this one actually delivered. Sarah Snook did not disappoint. But neither does anyone else! Excellent performances this one was worth the wait. If the family did not have its own internal issues and dysfunction this would not have been as good as it was.

Never thought I'd see Kim Kardashian on anything but a reality show but here we are. She isn't bad but you do have these perfectly manicured shots aimed at showing her in the best light at all times. This includes her million dollar wardrobe and 5 figure designer outfits. Plus her acting seems wooden and artificial. This is a by the numbers drama and a lot of actresses are pulled out of retirement on this one. Women come out of the woodwork you haven't seen in ages. Enjoy the first season while you still can. A lot of people won't like it but they'll hate watch anything Kim is in so it COULD get a second season though it's unlikely. It could be worse.

I WOULD say the same thing I said about The Chair Company as this is the same comedy and the same narcissistic darkness. But the only thing weird in this film is the protagonist. And I liked the film and I don't know why and this keeps me up at night. Seriously there isn't a dry moment in it. But again, if you like the modern equivalent of Andy Kaufman and all that entails you'll love this film, and anything else the actor that is the protagonist is in. If you want something normal and sane I'd pass on this one.

Bizarre, weird, and loud. I only watched because it's set in Ohio. Typical of the eccentricity that has become the norm for HBO, which has a ton of this type of comedy. The SNL crowd will love this. It's a different type of comedy, very surreal, absurdist, less laughs. If you're okay with that you'll probably love this show.

Not a bad show. It does take a lot of artistic liberties, which it states that it does through a disclaimer on each episode. It is engaging but it tends to get lost in the weeds of humanism and story building through interpersonal drama which tends to make the parts that are scripturally accurate less impactful in my opinion. Only watch if you're interested in seeing this story from a different perspective.

This is a really messed up movie. It's about con artists that are really good at what they do. The con artists are despicable individuals. But I do not completely understand how they're able to get away with the schemes. For example there is no way I would give away that much of my father's money to someone I don't really know that well I don't care if I do think I'm in love they weren't married or anything. It just doesn't seem plausible. Whether I hate my old man or not I'm not going to do him like that. The "victim" was insecure and was trying to impress the woman with the gift, it wasn't about him actually trying to help her. And there's more again it's another A24 release so it's psychologically disturbing as a lot of their movies are but I think it falls short. A lot of their movies have a surrealism where the darkness is its own brooding character and contrasts in a nice way with the lack of morality in the protagonists, especially the self righteous ones. It also informs the cinematography. I'm not really getting that in this film.

Very melodramatic but Robin Givens does not disappoint in this show.

Probably as self indulgent and psychological as his films but it was a good watch. Runs about as long as some of his projects do too but it was worth the effort. You won't be disappointed.

Very interesting and a little weird and unorthodox. Generally don't like shows about autism or shows like Big Bang where autism is implied and used to being depth to a character, but this is pretty good. Instead of being boring or preaching to the choir this show uses dark humor to talk about a group of people dealing with autism in a "group home" or assisted living situation. Gives a more humane perspective instead of treating them as a spectacle, which a lot of shows and movies did back in the 2010s. We also see how it impacts the relationships people with autism have with family members and others. Worth a watch. Please, I beg of you, no more inhumane "spectrum" shows. It makes a spectacle of things. I would give it 5 out of 5 but "Love on the Spectrum" is better. Even though "spectrum" is in the title it's so cute and adorable I have to make an exception. Which in itself could be problematic; maybe someone does not want to be cute and adorable today, regardless of how they come across on TV.
