Unless you’re used to the strange “hip” American English, the speech can grate terribly. The characters are difficult to care about, while the plot is too close to Back to the Future for comfort (but without the interesting Period stuff). The Michael J Fox Cameo is a nice surprise though. I nearly gave up just over 1/2 way through, but thought I’d stick it out to the end just to see how it resolved. It never did. It was simply left over for a sequel that definitely isn’t worth making. Avoid.
