I never actually watched this movie but looking back at these reviews, I can tell why it may have offended others in a religious case. I feel that when a movie is directed, the director themselves would have a purpose behind it. But it shouldn't be bring controversy and discomfort religiously towards others.

Well reality is reality and all I'm saying is that while some parents or kids might think its too dark and everything, its Life and you cant stop it. Life is full of bad and good things that you need to endure. That's a part of life. This book is actually pretty good in my opinion because it shows us life.
