If you see this TV series, Naseeruddin Shah will make you believe that he is the face of Mirza Ghalib. His acting is so realistic that you won't be able to take a sigh of relief without completing the series. With limited resources and old technology, Gulzar directed this series near perfection.
Every aspiring actor and director should watch this series and the last but not least, by adding writings of MIRZA GHALIB in the series was just like icing on the cake.

I think those were the times when content used to play major role. The directors and actors had zeal of trying new things and they used to understand the importance of television making. I wish I could see something like that now too. "Bestsellers were simply best"
