A good read with lots going on! Gives a rare insight into the mind and personality or the Emperor of Mankind through 'experiances' he shares with Ra Endymion, a Tribune of the Hykanatoi and one of the 'Ten Thousand', Legio Custodes. Without giving away too much, it shows the ruthlessness and single-mindedness of the Emperor and the 'cost' he is willing to make to achieve his ultimate goal.
