**Spoilers** Big fan of the previous movies & was very excited to see this one, but sadly I could only give it 3 stars. The first 30-40 minutes of the movie is very good. Some scenes had me on the edge of my seat & I was intrigued to see what unfolded. This feeling did not last long ~ as soon as they added the over-the-top dramatics, the cringe, weird awkward characters and interactions, the rating pummeled for me down to a 3. For example, the pregnant zombie who held hands with the Mother while giving birth to a non-infected baby - WTF was that? Then adding these Scottish teletubby fans in tracksuits with Ninja Turtle moves & ridiculous weapons. What happened to this movie halfway through? It was doing so good. I wish they had just kept it simple & we saw more of the Father with his Son & the Mother before they added her skull to the decorations. Horrific ending to the movie. I didn't hate it but I also didn't love it which sucks because I was looking forward to this movie for a long time.

**SPOILERS** I honestly do not know why they changed the show so drastically. Switching the characters around so that Dina is with Joel in his time of death & not his Brother Tommy is ridiculous - his Brother should have been with him to watch him die and that gives the entire point of why Tommy goes after Abby's crew so ruthlessly. The way the bloater was introduced in the show wasn't scary, nor did it even make sense how there was hundreds of runners suddenly in the snow running to the base. Totally pointless scene & took away a heartfelt scene with Joel & Tommy. I have zero connection to Bella playing as Ellie. Ellie in the game is sarcastic, funny, has pretty good quickwit one-liners, we also get to see her bond with Joel overtime and they both start off as disliking each other to becoming protective with one another. We don't get that at all in this show. Also, why take out a big chunk of Ellie's personality? We don't get to see her explore her sexuality. We don't get to see her have a connection with Dina. We don't get to experience her also trying to find a connection with Tommy. The scene in the game where Joel plays his guitar for Ellie & sings to her was also special and that was taken out too. It feels like everything important is skipped over. The girl who plays Abby is also NOT intimidating, she is smaller than Ellie and her comments to Joel were unnecessary and WEIRD. Calling him handsome? Then she tells Joel who she is. What the hell is the point in that? The entire game had people enraged and we desperately played to find out who Abby was and why she killed Joel. That was also taken away from us. Abby shouldn't have told Joel who she was, the entire speech was silly and not needed. Bella who plays Ellie was also a silly idea. I cried playing TLOU game when Ellie cries out for Joel. I did not cry when Bella cried out because I guess I didn't feel the same passion and again, I felt there was no connection between TV Ellie & Joel. Bella lacks the passion, the delivery to give sarcastic comments as funny, she lacks the personality for Ellie. Her acting is very bland and I feel like the TV show is ruined. Bad casting, bad acting, bad delivery, bad plots, just everything is bad. This will never do the game justice or even have the slightest impact the way the game did. If you're going to make a TV show based off an amazing game, at least have the ability to make the show decent.

The acting was good but honestly, this show let so many victims down. The detective in the beginning literally says how people always make it about the killer and not the victim, which is true - and yet this show proved that point. This entire show is about the boy, his family and their hurt, whether or not the boy "did it" which of course he did there is no question about it. However, we do not get to see the victim or her story, we do not get to see how it impacts her family. I am confused if we are supposed to feel sorry for the boy and his family because I didn't. This show could've done better. Giving us a glimpse of how hard the family have it simply because someone wrote "nonse" with paint on his van and how his sons birthday card made him emotional. Who cares? At least the son had the opportunity to send his Dad a birthday card, he gets to speak to his Dad while in prison and gets to go to the gym. The victim never even got 5 minutes to show what she was like as a person or her family. The boys family never holds their son accountable, never questions him and sticks by him throughout all. It even shows another man in a store showing support for his son and this is usually how most men act when something like this happens, they support each other and support the killer. Never the victim. This show just proved the victim is forgotten.

I was looking forward to playing this game, especially as Max again. However, this game is a total disappointment. The storyline was so messy, all over the place - pointless dialogue, a very weak plot which made absolutely no sense. The ending was corny and silly. They could've done so much with this game, the first 10-20 minutes were decent but other than that I'm sad I spent money on playing this. What a let-down to the previous games.

I loved this game despite the glitches and long loading screens. The story was interesting, kept me wanting to play and I was never bored. Although, I felt the game was missing something but I still enjoyed it.

What happened to classic action movies with superheros? Must it have all these characters shoved into one movie with the most boring "humor" possible? Just because you can cuss so much and drop F bombs so often doesn't make you funny and adding an ugly dog doesn't make it special. I miss how movies used to be.

story was garbage, graphics were great but the fighting style was the same on repeat, too much looting and walking around
