On the Chase edition Tuesday 5th March 2019, Bradley Walsh, in the Final Chase, asked the following question, "In the Roman army, how many men were under the command of a Decurion." The contestants incorrectly answered the question according to Bradley. He said the correct answer was TEN.. One would be forgiven for assuming that DEC in this instance means ten. A Decurion was a cavalry officer, with the equivalent rank of a centurion. He was in command of 120 cavalry soldiers. I am surprised the Chaser didn't correct him.
