A slightly different turning of the wheel. Each episode picks up more than the last and helps explain some of the phrases and components of the show from the books that non book readers might be confused by. There were some changes that felt unnecessary but overall they did well bringing the story to the screen especially when so much of the books were inner monolog. Everyone should give it a try and then go read the books for a whole new but exciting experience.
