This is an amazing game because it knows what it wants to accomplish. This is a remake of video game that came out in 1998; Seiken Densetsu 3 was an action RPG that was the third game in the Mana series, if this sounds familiar, know that Final Fantasy Adventure and the Super Nintendo classic, Secret of Mana are this game's predecessors. This is regarded as the best out of the original trilogy because of its 3 main storylines that can be followed with 2 out of 6 playable characters. Nowadays, the plots of each storyline aren't anything extraordinarily special but the charm is still 100% there. The combat is really simple as the remake uses two buttons for heavy and light attacks, (X and A as the default, respectively) and as you level up and progress into even more powerful classes, characters add more actions to their combos. (Ex. A>X, A>A>X, a jumping attack and more.) It sticks to its Super Famicom roots but includes small sidequests with a L'il Cactus that appears in Legend of Mana and future titles. The game does have some technical bugs and issues but they are uncommon, I am not going to say they are very rare, but they don't obstruct gameplay. This is a great buy for those looking for an action RPG to play.
