I am so impressed by Tom Holland, he is really trying to be versatile and explore different roles and really focus on getting the true genuine emotions and expressions out of himself when portraying it seems ..constantly differing characters. So intrigued crushed and so impressed with the quality and ironic and sarcastic satire of this movie. I love you Cherry, all the Spider-Man movies out and not out yet as well as The Devil All the Time and hope to see many more.
It was a really interesting way of depicting of the military and what being a young man in the military and the boot camp and out in the field is truly like without trying to glorify it or make it seem like it all just keeping people safe and defeating threats but friends & best friends that ultimately form into brothers yanked from you left and right..dead..losing brave man who volunteered to do their very best to protect their own civilians and home back home as well civilians in countries they are fighting during war but eliminate violence and wives losing and of a young man just trying to get through life and do something in this world.
I thought Tom Holland was genuine and raw and he really tried to show realistically the different sides of what it means to be a young man, a boyfriend, a husband and whatever else he aspired to be…a student, a soldier fighting to maintain peace etc but he also naturally is a sweet, caring and loving person in real life as I have at least noticed and seen on his Instagram and in interviews that he is able to help you see what it means to be a good man but have some dark sides too because everyone does but sometimes those take over and lead you down paths you never through you would ever go down but Tom and Ciara Bravo together as “partners in crime” both figuratively and literally on top of intensely loyal lovers prove that love truly does conquer all and Tom ultimately proves that if you really want dig yourself out of the hole you have to give yourself the space, environment and time do it and put in the work or else you will never get anywhere.
