An epic film depicting the Polish legions of the Austro-Hungarian empire fighting for the creation of an independent Polish state against the Russian empire during World War I. Fabulous battle scenes plus a love triangle thrown in. Very enjoyable swashbuckling movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if this film had been commissioned by the Polish state Ministry of Propaganda! (In Polish and some Russian with English subtitles)
