A very interesting mini series.Reflected the era, when so many Priests and Religious were " Mother's Vocation's " to the Church.
Many Priests, and Nuns, fell in Love, but choose to stay as Religious, due
to the Perceived Shame that leaving the Church would bring Upon their Mothers in Particular, and their Families in General.
I knew from very early in the series, that Fr Ralph would always put ambition first and Meggie Second [ deep down Fr Ralph was a very Selfish Person - He used Meggie - Possible Sexual Gratification ! ]
To All Fellow Catholic Believers [ Age 73 ] - Good Reading and Viewing.
