A massively underappreciated film
For a film being the only one that Murakami-Wolf did [their work on Frank Zappa's "200 Motels" doesn't count] before being exclusively TV only, The Mouse and His Child is a charming yet intellectually surreal film about seeking independence ("self winding" as it puts it)
It's such a pity that this film isn't on DVD and/or Blu-Ray (apart from bootlegs) as the film deserves to be seen by kids and family alike for generations here, and years from now
