Didn't hate it, but didn't like it either. I'm 25 and watched the winx club growing up and I appreciated that it was a more grown up version, but they focused so much on that factor that it was cringey for me. Some main characters were removed, or changed, and the ones that remained didn't live up to their original creation. I will admit, I struggled through episodes 1-5.5. But the last 15 minutes or so made me interested in what will happen next. I don't know the creator's vision, but I'm hoping it gets better if there is a season 2 and regains some of the elements of the original that made me keep watching until the end. Example, the sisterhood of the fairies. That was one thing that kept me hooked. That element fell flat for me. Although i understand 6 episodes is short to create that. We'll see I guess!
