The soldier labeled a coward was, in the end, the bravest and greatest of them all. Using those who had died in combat for cover was a powerful part of the story. The eyeball in the dirt was the most moving scene I've ever experienced. We have a huge debt of gratitude to all those who suffered and/or died in battle for our benefit.
