I was randomly scrolling through Crunchyroll trying to find a new anime to watch when my dad pressed on Gintama for me. He had read the description and everything and decided I should watch it. So I did. At first I was so confused, but thought the anime was weirdly funny so I continued to watch. As I continued I got more and more invested in the anime. I laughed during the fun episodes and cried during the serious ones. This anime is something I never excepted myself to love more then I do. the character development is AMAZING. even character backstories. Usually I don't watch arcs about character backstories because I find them boring, especially with characters I don't like, but with Gintama I watched every single episode they had. After I finished it I was so upset that it left off on a cliffhanger (this was wayyyy before the last movie came out) that I started reading the manga (which is just as amazing as the anime). I never once regretted watching Gintama.
but there is one thing I do regret.. watching some episodes in front of my parents. After a few episodes.. Gintama is one of those "do not watch with strict and/or religious parents" kind of anime..
