This is a good movie, if the hero isn't Batman.
The story was actually good, cinematography was quite interesting as they try to create a noir feel to it, and the villians and side characters are pretty awesome.
This Catwoman is like Halle Barry's version with a modern twist to it. The Riddler brings a realistic portrayal of a very smart sociopath murderer who happens to like riddles.
The problem is, this is a Batman movie. Bruce Wayne is a trained assassin, but yet this Batman fights like a bro. He just attacks straight up.
Bruce Wayne is a very very rich dude, yet his weapons, gadgets, suits and the Batmobile looks like it was created in a 90s home garage.
Most importantly, Bruce Wayne is a super smart person who is able to look at the big picture, and has already realise that using money to fight corruption will definitely not work, as the bad guys will fight back with violence. So he decides to win them with violence.
Due to his understanding of this, Batman should be a very calm yet fearful person. He should be very street smart and sophisticated.
Yet, this Batman seemed like a book smart guy. Very emotional, have no composure, and act like a fresh grad who is still understanding life.
I understand that the director is trying a different path, trying to create a noir feel Batman who's philosophy is about saving people, but these are just not Batman.
If it's a new movie with a random hero, i'll give it 80. But because this is Batman, 60.
