This series started off interesting although very confusing with all the jumping around to different dates. I felt like instead of just being able to relax and enjoy I was having to put in too much effort in order to enjoy. Much of it was rather unrealistic. I never heard any overhead aircraft flying by, car horns, sirens or telephone ringing in the background (even in Philadelphia!) By the 5th season I began to feel almost like I was re experiencing life in the pandemic, which needless to say wasn’t pleasant. When they started putting the scumbag criminal George Floyd up on a pedestal, well that just irritated the crap out of me! That’s about the time that I came to the realization that this program had become racial! When the young lady portrayed herself as gay was another ding in it for me. Frankly I’m sick and tired of the woke culture jamming their lifestyle down my throat. We don’t need Hollywood cramming it into so many programs. I really didn’t appreciate this program reinforcing children talking down to their parents and the parent apologizing for their shortcomings in the way in which they didn’t refer to their lesbian girlfriend as they instead of her, that’s total bullsh_t! ENOUGH with the woke crowd already! Your wife has triplets but one of them dies during delivery but you adopt a black baby (Randall) to take home with your two surviving newborns is too unrealistic and lame. But then Randall was coddled throughout his childhood and still has issues once he becomes an adult. He had more love and attention than most kids do in normal households! Stud muffin Kevin sleeps with a hundred women but when he knocks one up he decides that he wants to marry her even though he’s not once told her that he loved her……come on! This series is 78 hours long…..way too long! During season 5 it became laborious to watch but then you feel like you have so much time vested into the series that you feel obligated to finish it. All throughout there are too many lame songs being played in the background. I found myself ff through some of the parts that were too repetitive and dragging ass. Makes me wish that I chose 4, or 5 other series to watch instead of just this really long one. Probably belongs under the heading of chic-flick and I love romantic comedies!

I had high hopes for this series, however, those hopes were quickly dismissed by the 2nd episode when there were already two racist remarks made in each episode, shame on Netflix. One other determining factor was that it appears to more so geared towards a high school type audience since the majority of the plot revolves around a cliquish girls group in high school. This program also promotes promiscuity, drugs, retail theft, immaturity & a single mom who uses people, picks on a school kid (even though he deserves it) lies & uses deceit for personal gain! Not for me!

I did really used to enjoy this show, & look forward to the next episode, however, after I watched season 5, episode 1 last night I came to the realization that this program is sending the wrong message to our younger generation. Here’s why I’ve arrived at this opinion, Sam let’s her kids constantly walk all over her abusing her and her authority in the process. This is one contributing factors as to why there are so many misdirected kids & young adults in today’s society. It’s already tough on one parent families but that one parent needs to instill stronger family values, tough love coupled with discipline.
