Having been a fan of Spidey for about 35 years, I thought I'd seen Spiderman as good as he was ever likely to get on the big screen. I was wrong. This movie is a fantastically fresh take on the webbed wonder - and much needed after the last couple of dull live action outings. The animation is simply stunning, the music is thumping, and the cast is perfect. Jake Johnson particularly stands out as the over-the-hill thirty something hero now struggling to fit into his costume. This movie is simply not to be missed. Look out Tom Holland - you've just been upstaged. 10/10.
