I think the subtle offbeat humour makes this movie. there are some wacky moments in there; the paintings on the wall of that house stands out as a good example of what I mean. Just the thought that went into writing those irreverent moments into the movie, is a stroke of low key comedy genius.

What starts out as a very bizarre show, follows up with some very clever writing, beautiful moments and equally captivating cinematography. Jason Segel has written another masterpiece. The dialogue, is full of depth and the characters are portraying real people. Which is refreshing from the hollow TV macho scripts that are all flash and no bang. Perhaps this show is not for everyone. Perhaps you do have to empathise with one of the characters get drawn on that level. However Despite what some of the one star reviews say, a show does not need to be pushing an agenda in order to employ a trans actor! If you're a narrow minded Buffoon do not bother watching this show. You'll only get yourself all angry and hateful
