The Almighty Lizard King

Despite me writing this review a year after I watched the series it’s still my favorite TV show. The way everything is lit, designed, and shot is just beautiful, and captures the mood of the scene so well you barely need to read the subtitles to understand how the characters are feeling. I would recommend listening to it in German with your strongest language subs if you well, don’t speak German. Although, the English dub is surprising better than most of Netflix’s dubs. I actually kinda liked how blunt/choppy the lines were (I seriously did), I think with the show’s theme it works well. Like how Walter in “Breaking Bad” was nice at first with good intentions slowly becomes more cold. I would like to see how the next season turns out, I have a feeling that Netflix won’t mess up the second season.
