When I heard this game was in production I was delighted but as it stands right now, the game is hot garbage. The main mechanic that should be done right in a BOXING game is the hit registration... it is awful! Combos come off really clean when stationary but the moment you try to close the distance with a combo, the punches are wonky, slow and unnatural. Head movement feels stupid and stiff, Fight Night did this much better (along with many other things) People say the footmovement is good, i agree when throwing a check hoodie or slip jab it looks clean but anything apart from that looks like a silly dance with the camera moving around like a carousel. This is at its worst when the CPU is hurt and literally moves in circles. Steel city really need to fix the hit registration which people have been shouting about since beta testing and to have the nerve to ask for as much money as they do for this game is a joke. Unless a massive patch is done, don't buy this, keep playing Fight night champion or even round 3 (yes even that runs better) Only get this if they fix their issues or it's for free on gamepass or ps store but seeing how long it took for them to release this and not address the issues...its probably gonna be the latter.

I started career mode and literally had to check my achievements to make sure I haven't played this game already...there is LITERALLY no change from 23 on career...I mean it...not a thing has changed l, nothing new, same objectives, same cutscenes and annoying music. EA was bad in quality before but they're just spitting in our dlface now. Don't buy this, only play it if you get it for free

Its like 2k20 but so much worse, shot meter is disgusting, players feel more stiff AND guess what, when the next gen comes out...you gotta buy a new one... I used to think 2k games was superior to EA because they did WHAT FANS WANTED but now they're just as bad. Rehashing the same game but without any tweaks, instead much worse!
