Some have said it’s slow? Some have said the script is poor? I would not agree at all! Brilliant cast. A story of manipulation control and vengeance. Well crafted. The narration is a subtle if sad masochistic backdrop to the characters on screen. A difficult watch for sure but the story is a sad epitaph to those who feel empowered by their own manifestation of desires with no empathy for the other players in their story!

This is a masterpiece! A poignant story of grief loss loneliness and love with an amazing cast. Andrew Scott gives an incredible performance.

It’s a series of unfortunate events meets pulp fiction! Tv noir!

Put simply, its frightening but a must watch. Anyone like me can see parallels with the breakdown of society that is going on around us. Yes this series strikes a chord not too far from where we find ourselves currently. Note the rise of fake news, draconian measures taken against the least able, digital tech and a society split with a non-listening government. Let’s just hope for all our sakes this is not a vision of the near future. In this sense i think it serves as a wake up call to those of us who do not take responsibility for what is happening around us.
