Having a career background in mental health, it was painful to watch these two highly dysfunctional adults be so destructive toward each other. Only toward the very last few episodes do we get a minor glimpse into their past with their own parents to see why they might behave as they do as adults. The tragedy to their uncontrollable behaviors is their willingness to destroy their son as they seek to destroy each other. They created yet another generation of wounded to become an abusive adult.
