This film while leaps and bounds better done then David Lynch's version. It still waver's off the books narrative. Especially where Paul and Chani are concerned. I know today we have to be correct in the way we tell tell our stories. But when veer so far off what the story tells you get lost! Never did Chani not believe Paul was the voice from the outer world never. Also the Guild forced the great houses to accept Paul as Emperor because of their fear over the spice supply! The war came because the great houses and the masses refused to worship Paul hence the Jihad a holy war! These changes kind ruin the flow of the story. But enough survives to make the film watchable

Something unsettling about this season I can not put my finger on but its there! As far as it goes the story is weak and in fact uninteresting. Q is immortal he can not be sick! A being couldn't have Q's powers and be thwarted by lesser beings. They would be powerless to stop him. Only someone of the same power could oppose him and stop him. I suppose this is how this season will shake out. PS after the last episode I give up it sucks. Its pointless and melodramatic without purpose. Now the FBI has Picard oh please and the watcher is Romulan how neat. I'm done and will not watch anymore.

Yeah well I made it for about five minutes and had to veer off quickly. I heard how bad it was but to see how bad it really is, is still shocking. Velma right out of the box is not Velma whomever her character is trying to has nothing to do with Scooby-doo! The sheer mean spiritedness of Velma is so out of left field as to not even be in the park of the Velma we all know and love. The what passes for hip speak like the shower scene is distasteful imagine if men had made this show. It would have been slammed as damn near child porn with nude teenage girls. Because women make it will get a pass on that. The tiresome lesbian jokes and shower all of that happens in the first minutes of the show. I refuse to watch more. Sure you can reimagine a well made show and turn it to a travesty have it. But count me out!

I wanted to like this film I did. But I could not like it. Part of it was the arrogance of the powerful imposing their will on others thru force! Is this really heroic? To me that is to close to the real world view. I want the other world view where the powerful use it to help others not impose on them or kill them at will! Black Adam delights in his power to kill their is nothing remotely heroic about him in the slightest! Even the ending scene his arrogance is on full display as he sneers at Superman. . Its to bad this movie has failed but their was no story no drama no something other then Johnson glaring at the camera like the Rock! That is not enough for a movie this big.

This show is what Lucas would love I assume. He gave a interview once where he said rather point blank. He saw no need for a episode seven period. Any thing that had to do with the New Republic or peace or Luke Skywalker was off the table as far as he was concerned. Now for off shoot stories that did not tread on those things maybe he said. But for him the war was over the New Republic won and the Empire was dead and never to return.

Well time for some truths. First and foremost this was a throw off character meant for exactly what happened to him. Boba Fett was not meant to have a story not meant to even explain anything about him. The direction he is in now. Could really be completely different and that would work too. Because there is no real story to him as far as the movies goes. Sure the comics and novels fleshed him out and Phantom menace gave him a start. But if you disregard the comics and the novels there is not much there. He was a gimmick a one trick pony. A phony tough guy laid low by an accident. Which from what I seen so far he should have stayed put. Yikes this show has gotten worse not better. If not for Mando I would have stopped watching I could careless about the story or about Fett its boring and pointless.

Its not bad not great either. Jeremy Renner knows his role well. Maybe to well he seems tired. The character lacks energy. Hailee is almost there the camera likes her. She is fun I like her character Kate is a hopeless romantic thinker. She adores Hawkeye without really knowing him at all. Something I dare say she will find out here soon. It will shock her he is not all she thinks he is it will open her eyes to a wider world. Somethings wrong are a nagging problem I have with females fighting males of equal skill and winning. It not realistic women lack the endurance and strength to fight a male with skills even if hers match his over even exceed them. He can take abuse she can not the weight advantage alone will do her in he can toss her about like a rag doll! Its a problem not just in this show but across many shows and movies.
