No Spoilers - that is unless you have any expectations from this movie. I consider myself to be a fan of the Matrix series having watched them numerous times. I watched the trilogy again in anticipation before Resurrections. I was left utterly disappointed. It started out well I thought, but it fizzled out within 20 minutes into a mess (and not in a good way). The whole story felt like it was the result of extremely lazy writing, and I feel like this, more than any other movie series, felt like it was blatantly trying to do something for the sake of raking in money from fans of the originals without even bothering to try. If there's one thing that impressed me, it is how well the CGI from the first movie stood the test of time. There was so much potential in this story, but in hindsight I found the trailer to be far more interesting and thought provoking. Shame really.
