⭐⭐⭐ and a half
Watch Dhadak for itself and you won't be disappointed one bit! Ishan Khattar will go a really long way in Bollywood- he's a gem! Even though this movie is a remake of the Marathi masterpiece, I would strongly suggest viewers to not compare the two films, since the rawness of regional cinema seldom features in mainstream Bollywood, and this movie is a Dharma product so expecting simplicity would be too much to ask for. Having said that, Dhadak is a fine movie, and deserves applause for showing such a hard hitting climax. Since I haven't watched Sairat, I thoroughly loved Dhadak for what it is. Jahnvi is good too, but will have to up her game in speaking Hindi in order to survive in the industry.
