For those looking for a Tiger Woods style golf experience, you won't find it here. In other words, it's not trying to be something it's not. Instead, it is a completely different golf sim that's fun at it's core. However, it's not worth the full $60 MSRP. The reason being isn't because of the lack of content, because there is plenty, but the overall quality of it. Upgrades to clubs are weak and offer virtually no benefit other than saying you play with those clubs. The swinging mechanic takes some getting used to but once you've got the hang of it the gameplay is more fun the more you hang onto it. I would tweak character progression in next year's game to make it more tangible and noticeable to where I can make improvements to my overall character. If you can get this game for a bargain like I did ($30) it's well worth the money.
